Carl and Carolyn Hefner opened Ozark Herbalist, LLC out of a need to provide integrative and alternative health options to families in the Ozarks. We have been part of the community since 1979 and are blessed to live in Southwest Missouri. Carl's clinical knowledge of traditional Western medicine from a pharmaceutical approach, combined with Carolyn's experience with Western allopathic medicine and expertise in functional alternative medicine, allows a unique understanding of both Western biomedical and alternative approaches.
